Short Eared Owl and Raven

Recently, I watched a few short eared owls being chased and harassed by flocks of crows and ravens. While the owls were faster and more maneuverable, the number of pursuers would inevitably convince the owls to land. Eventually, the crows or ravens would get bored or distracted and leave the owls alone. In this image, the raven is a little closer to my camera, but it's still a really good size comparison between the two. Photographed in late March, 2023, in southwestern British Columbia.
